Little Spoon: A baby’s meal delivery service

As a busy working mom, I’m a huge fan of meal delivery services for my husband and me, simply for the convenience factor. I wished there were something similar for babies – and then I found out about Little Spoon, which offers fresh organic baby food delivery to your door. It promises to tailor its organic blends to meet the nutritional needs for each stage in your baby’s development. Bingo! I knew I had to try it.

The first time I got it, I was excited to open the box to see what blends were sent to my baby. Cameron was in the 7 months old stage when we first received our box, and now he’s 9 months old. Each “Babyblend” is “optimized to suit your baby’s developmental needs every step of the way.” I like how there are diverse flavors and organic ingredients, to help a baby’s palate develop a taste for them.

We’re still using Little Spoon, and I love seeing the containers with superfood blends listed on them, such as “avocado green apple broccoli spirulina.” I mean, COME ON! That’s impressive, even for an adult to eat, much less a 9 month old little boy!

Full confession: once or twice, I may or may not have a dumped a babyblend in my own personal smoothie, LOL!

The company makes a big deal about how a baby’s first 1,000 days of food sets him or her up for a lifetime. I definitely want to have Cam consuming a nutritionally sound diet, and I can tell he’s still not ready for solid food – hence the continuation of purees. It gives me comfort to know that although I’m busy, I’m still able to provide for him a great foundation of eating.

As for price, we have done the “3 blends a day” option, which will run you $95. I admit that is a bit on the more expensive side, but I believe in paying for convenience. Many thanks to Little Spoon for offering me a blogger option to try it out – and I have stuck with it, after that first time of trying it.

My final verdict is that it is indeed worth it, which is why we’ve kept on using it. Cam isn’t complaining, and he even eats the “broccoli spinach” blend (although I confess that is not his favorite). He’s always happy when I give him a Little Spoon!

  1. Thanks for your article. Another thing is that just being a photographer consists of not only difficulty in catching award-winning photographs but additionally hardships in establishing the best photographic camera suited to your needs and most especially situations in maintaining the standard of your camera. This is certainly very genuine and evident for those photography addicts that are straight into capturing the particular nature’s exciting scenes – the mountains, the forests, the actual wild or seas. Visiting these daring places unquestionably requires a digicam that can live up to the wild’s harsh conditions.
