LUXURY STAYCATION! 9 Reasons to Stay at the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa

If you’re like me and have been staying home, you’re probably longing for a bit of a vacation. Maybe you’re (like me) a Florida resident and wishing to travel to a family-friendly destination that is safe and focused on cleanliness – just before your kids head back to school. Or maybe you’re just seeking some fun in the sun at a luxury resort that’s right on the ocean.

Either way, have I got an option for you! Keep reading about the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa in the Palm Beaches, Florida – a sunny slice of paradise that’s accessible, affordable, welcoming and tropical. We had a “staycation” there because it’s within the county where we live, but it truly felt like it was a million miles away in terms of how relaxed and refreshed I felt after it was all said and done.

Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa in the Palm Beaches, Florida

Our family recently was hosted for an overnight stay in this luxurious property. I had been to visit the restaurant, 3800 Ocean, numerous times before, but this was my first time to spend the night. We had a 2-bedroom suite and it was spectacular. Our stay ended up being amazing, and I genuinely wanted to move in permanently before our staycation was over, LOL!

Be sure to watch my staycation vlog on YouTube (which features a tour of the suites, kitchen and bathroom).

Scroll down below the video to read my 9 reasons why you should consider a stay at the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa.

#1. SAFETY. The resort has a tremendous focus on cleanliness. It’s part of The Palm Beaches Pledge by Discover The Palm Beaches, the destination marketing organization for Palm Beach County.

I used to be the PR Manager for this group, soooo I gotta lotta love for it in my heart… it’s all about tourism. It’s one of the county’s top economic drivers, and tens of thousands of jobs rely on visitation – so when you feel ready to travel or staycation, the Palm Beaches tourism spots are ready for YOU!

#2. ACCESSIBILITY. If you live in Florida, it’s an easy drive from wherever you are in the state. The destination is halfway between Orlando and Miami. If you’re coming from out of state, Singer Island is less than 20 minutes from Palm Beach International Airport.

#3. ALL SUITES. The Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa is the only all-suite property in the entire county. The one- and two-bedroom suites feature full kitchens plus in-unit washer/dryers – which are useful for families, especially those who plan longer stays.

We ended up using the kitchen for our dinner, since I wasn’t sure if our toddler son was up for dining in public at the end of a beach day. There are pots, pans, cutting boards and utensils, plates, cups and pretty much everything you need in the cabinets. The microwave and stove complete the usefulness factor!

#4. BALCONY VIEWS – OCEAN AND INTRACOASTAL. I am just going to leave this photo right here… ’nuff said.

#5. SINGER ISLAND BEACHES. As a guest, you have access to the private beach right behind the resort, and it literally is just a three-minute walk from the resort right into the water.

#6. SPA. The on-site SiSpa is the perfect place for pampering. Spa services include sea-inspired treatments, massages, facials and more.

#7. TREATS AND SPECIALTY DESSERTS. The resort’s pastry chef comes up with brilliant and delicious concoctions, and I have to give a special shout-out for the Disney Pixar “Cars”-themed cupcakes that my son enjoyed! That’s his favorite movie, and watch my YouTube vlog to see his reaction when he first saw these cute cupcakes.

#8. TWO ON-SITE POOLS. Both pools are family-friendly, and the infinity pool is gorgeous but I especially loved the Lagoon pool with its toddler-safe zero entry. The slide was a huge hit with the kids (and me).

#9. AWARD-WINNING. The Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association recently announced this property has earned its Seal of Commitment.

Further info: As the FRLA’s highest designation for hospitality safety and sanitation standards, Seal of Commitment is a promise that your restaurant or hotel meets safety and sanitation standards as designated by FRLA. Awarded establishments have invested resources to ensure that the location, staff, and guests remain safe and healthy. In a post COVID-19 atmosphere, when guests see an FRLA Seal of Commitment decal on an establishment’s door, they have confidence the business is sanitary and safe and that staff are well trained.

All in all, this property is one that I highly recommend! Comment below and let me know which aspect of the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa has impressed you the most. It’s hard for me to choose!

FTC disclaimer: I was hosted for a complimentary overnight stay. Even though I was a guest of the property, as always – all opinions are my own.
