5 Reasons to Stay at the Hilton West Palm Beach

I’ve been a fan of the Hilton West Palm Beach since I had a hard hat tour of the facility while it was still under construction. When the property finally opened, the high expectations I had for it were blown away by the reality of what the hotel offers. I’ve been on site dozens of times for various reasons – everything from dinner with friends at the spectacular grill and bar, Galley, to corporate meetings since the hotel offers ample event venue rental space. But this was the first time I had done an overnight stay – and it was amazing to experience it with my husband, since our friend kept our young son overnight for us. The next time we come back (which is, ironically, in a couple of weeks for my husband’s job!), we will make a point to take our son swimming in the gorgeous pool.

Here are 5 reasons why you should consider staying at the hotel when you’re planning your next vacation (or, in my case, staycation!)…

Reason #1: Ambiance + amenities = vibes for days

As soon as you walk in to the hotel, you feel the relaxation begin to set in. The stylish amenities as well as the well-appointed rooms set the bar high for any property.

We stayed in a spacious suite, which boasted views of The Square across the street (more on that in the next reason why you should stay).

Reason #2: Location, location, location

I’m obsessed with The Square, as it’s one of those destinations that actually lives up to the hype of promising “something for everyone.” It’s literally across the street from the Hilton West Palm Beach, so within a couple of minutes’ walk, you’re in the heart of a vibrant cultural district with dining and shopping options galore. It’s the spot I usually take my out-of-town visitors when they come here, and you’ll often find me there meeting friends for a quick lunch or on a date night with my husband on weekends… plus my son loves the interactive water fountain.

As for the Hilton West Palm Beach’s accessibility, the hotel is just minutes away from Palm Beach International Airport and the Brightline train station in Downtown West Palm Beach – so getting here is simple and quick.

Reason #3: Meeting space and proximity to the Convention Center

The Hilton West Palm Beach elevated the entire tourism destination’s profile for groups, meetings, conventions and events because it is connected via an enclosed physical walkway to the Palm Beach County Convention Center. Attendees can conveniently go from the property, which is highly desirable in the conventions industry because of its resort-style amenities, to their meeting at the Convention Center.

I experienced one of the hotel’s on-site meeting spaces during my stay because I participated in the Hilton’s monthly Book Club – and this month, the event was hosted by my blogger friend Marianna Francis.

This was the second time I attended a Book Club at the Hilton West Palm Beach, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite activities. Intelligent women having stimulating conversation while enjoying light bites and wine – what’s not to love?!

Last month, the Book Club was held outdoors by the pool. This month, it was held in The Social Room at the Hilton, which is upstairs.

This is one of the many examples of the Hilton West Palm Beach’s on site meeting spaces.

It felt intimate and luxurious, almost as if we were in someone’s home – with welcoming hospitality from the service, and delicious food.

Reason #4: Dining options

Since I started talking about the food, let’s get into how the Hilton West Palm Beach is worth a visit just for that. I mentioned earlier how I’ve dined at Galley several times – which never disappoints. If you’re a local in The Palm Beaches, you should add it to your list.

This stay, we opted to try Manor, the breakfast and lunch spot featuring season, locally-sourced ingredients. You have the choice of dining either indoors or outdoors on the patio overlooking the pool.

Although the breakfast buffet looked amazing – and it has special daily menu items, such as chicken and waffles the day we were there – I opened for the Huevos Rancheros. Highly recommend! Super flavorful with the black bean dip-like layers between the toasted tortillas. My husband enjoyed his omelet and toast, plus unlimited cups of coffee, LOL!

Reason #5: The pool area is LIT

My best recommendation is to pick what “feel” you’re going for in your vacation, and time your outdoor enjoyment accordingly. If you want more lively, family-friendly action, check out the pool in the day time – especially on weekends, when the music is fun and the visitors are happy to be there. If you want a more laid-back kind of atmosphere, wait until later in the day – especially dusk – when it’s more secluded with fewer people. Pro tip: don’t sleep on the hot tub!

So there you have it – 5 reasons why you MUST make plans now to book your stay at the Hilton West Palm Beach. Which one resonates with you the most? Comment below!
