THE SLEEP STYLER: Hot or Not?

If you have been following my Instagram stories, you probably already know how much I have been using The Sleep Styler. It took sooo long for it to come in, because the demand was high and production was slow. So while I was waiting, I created this DUPE video where I achieved the look I wanted from The Sleep Styler with kitchen dish sponges.

Meantime, I finally got both the Original and Mini Sleep Styler products in, and I have been sleeping in them nightly with no problems. I love the way they curl my hair, and I use both of them – the Original on the lower half of my hair, and the Mini on the top half with bobby pins pushed underneath so they don’t flop over.

If you use them, I do recommend putting some form of hairstyling product in your hair and blow-drying the roots. You don’t have to fully dry your hair, I leave dampness in it, but I noticed that when I didn’t use product or a blowdryer, that my hair was limp and tended to get greasy at the root.

I recommend the Saints and Sinners Diving Styling Potion – it made my strands really smooth, and the curls are lasting longer.

  1. This seems like a great gift idea for my wife! She is a hair stylist and has just about every hair care jig known to man! Ill have to make sure she doesn’t have this already and sneak it in the budget for her next birthday.

    Cheers

  2. Oh, I have always had a hard time with getting my hair curled and keeping it like this for as long as I could and I would totally give this a go

  3. I honestly don’t have a need for curlers because my hair is naturally wavy. But I am interested to see how these would improve my natural waves and if they would last longer.

  4. Wow would love to try this my hair is quite long so styling regularly can be so time consuming but styling in my sleep – that is something i need to try! Thanks for sharing x
